DRUGS – The Tangiers-Med port security district authorities seized a record cargo of 27.3 tons of cannabis resin on Sunday night in coordination with customs services. The drug was found aboard three international cargo trucks registered in Morocco, says the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) in a statement.
The discovery was made during the inspection of the three vehicles heading for Europe, supposed to transport a shipment of industrial equipment. It allowed the seizure of the quantity of drugs distributed on 16 containers in the trailers of the three trucks, specifies the DGSN. The operation also allowed the arrest of three drivers and three assistants, all of Moroccan nationality, aged between 31 and 50 years.
The defendants were placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted by the Prefectural Police Department "to identify the possible ramifications of this criminal activity at the national and international levels," adds the DGSN.
"This case is part of the intense and continuous security operations conducted by the security services to fight against international drug trafficking and psychotropic drugs," the statement said.
An operation that comes a few days after the seizure, still in Tangiers-Med, of 5 tons of cannabis resin destined for Europe.
The goods were also on board an international cargo truck.
Here is what you need to know before visiting your regional medical dispensary:You will need a physician’s recommendation, medical cannabis certificate, or whatever proper documentation is needed by your state. Ordinarily, you need to be 18 or older to qualify for a medical consent, but exceptions could be made in some conditions for minors with particularly debilitating conditions. You will usually enroll with a medicinal dispensary. This is to maintain your medical cannabis recommendation or certification on file for legal and regulatory purposes. There’ll be a waiting room. This is to control the circulation of patients and product, but a straightforward dividing wall also gives patients privacy and direct one-on-one contact with a budtender to discuss medical problems. This process can assist budtenders and patients track effective medicine as well as possess a living record of manufacturers and goods for future reference and follow-up. Medicinal dispensaries usually allow you to smell and examine the buds before buy. This may differ from state-to-state.
